Just a couple of days ago the story about a new all black T-Mobile Dash II broke loose, just to get us excited only for a few minutes until we realize that it was nothing more than a simple paint job on the original Dash. Well, just in case you still had any hopes left for this device being a proper upgrade, The Technicist had a hands-on with the black Dash, that will help clear things out.
It seems that the only upgrade HTC did to the device is the new color scheme and a system software upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.1. Although those are welcome changes, we can’t help but feel somewhat bitterly about this device, as it appears rather dated with only 64MB Ram, 1.3MP camera and no 3G. One thing they also left unchanged is the price that remains at $99, but in our opinion you can probably get a better device at the same price range. That is of course our opinion, and we would love to hear yours, so please don’t hesitate to drop a comment below.
