Alcatel’s flagship Windows Phone, the Alcatel Idol 4 Pro is now on sale in more parts of Europe. The device is priced like a typical flagship device, with prices starting at 531 Euros.
The handset itself isn’t bad, featuring a metal and glass sandwich design, a full HD 5.5-inch screen with a fingerprint sensor and support for VR.
This phone, though powered by decent hardware for 2016, is hampered in 2017 by both hardware and software, as Microsoft’s Windows 10 Mobile is no longer a priority for the software maker, nor does it feature enough apps to make a decent experience for general users. There are also many more powerful phones for that price offering a better mobile experience, ultimately, unless you’re a die hard WIndows phone fan, you’re better off steering clear.
