It’s been a hot while since Microsoft launched the AI hub for developers. One of the most hotly-anticipated features of it is the AI summarizer on Microsoft Store that could sum up hundreds and thousands of online reviews of an app into one solid paragraph within seconds.Â
The good news is, it is now available in preview for all Windows insiders in the United States. As shared by Windows insider @PhantomOfEarth on Twitter, you’d need to be on app version 22306.1401.x.x. to take this new feature out for a spin.

The AI hub on Microsoft Store was introduced earlier this year in May. It’s an AI corner for everything AI: AI-powered apps, plugins, and even summaries and keywords of these apps are also AI-generated.Â
“This new feature summarizes customer reviews and provides a concise summary highlighting the topline details. We know customers use the Microsoft Store to view and gather community feedback when considering and choosing new apps and games. However, especially with popular apps that have thousands of reviews, sifting through each one can take time,” says Microsoft on the release note.Â
Besides that, Microsoft is planning to introduce AI-generated keywords and the ability to select multiple categories for apps in the Partner Center preview channel. These changes will help developers improve their app’s discoverability in the Microsoft Store search results by using AI to handle app metadata.
