Its been a while coming, today Bank of America made the final move to shed their Windows Phone users by disabling their Windows Phone app. The app now pops us the above message, saying “We no longer support this app…”

To add insult to injury the app also notes “.. you may not have browser access to bankofamerica.com from this device.” which if you are in mobile browser mode is true, as users are not able to get past the mobile login page on their Windows Phones.

Clearly Windows Phone is in no way a “supported operating system,” suggesting BoA would like to not just kill of their Windows Phone app, but also Windows Phone itself. Makes one wonder about the company’s investments.
