Rudy Huyn is running a twitter campaign for companies who forget they even have a Windows Phone app.

One company that certainly qualifies is dating service Plenty of Fish, who was one of the first on the platform, with an app which they last updated in July 2011. That app is not particularly appreciated at present, with 1.5 stars only.

Now 3 years later the company is back with a brand new app for WP8 and 8.1.  Unlike the last version, this one actually lets you upload pictures, an essential element of a dating app one would think.

It features:image

  • Send and receive messages on the go for free.
  • Meetme: swipe through matches, flirt with singles & see who wants to meet you.
  • Message people nearby, online, and using the POF apps in Locals with gps.
  • Upload images and edit your profile.
  • Discover who viewed your profile.
  • Review your Matches.

Plenty of Fish claims more than 3 million dates arranged every month.  Get some for yourself by downloading the app from the Windows Phone Store here.
