AdDuplex: Number of users on Windows 10 Mobile Technical Preview treble in last month

This month’s AdDuplex report, from data collected by their network of 5,339 Windows Phone apps, deliver few surprises, and unfortunately no reports of new devices.
The report does reveal a trebling in the number of users on the Windows 10 Mobile Technical Preview, from 0.7% to 2.3%. This is a rather large proportion of Windows Phone users on what is still a rather unstable piece of software, but will hopefully deliver a lot of data allowing Microsoft to perfect the OS.
Despite a very large number of new OEMs Microsoft’s ownership of the Windows Phone ecosystem is approaching 97%, at 96.75%, an increase of 0.21%. Unless Samsung release a few devices the 3rd party OEM system is starting to look rather pointless and a waste of resources.
In terms of devices, the Lumia 520 is still the most popular, but is slowly fading, down 1.5% in favour of the Lumia 535, which is up 1.5%.
