Acer and HP’s Windows Mixed Reality headset dev kits now available for pre-order

At Build developer conference today, Microsoft announced that they will deliver mixed reality experiences to general consumers with the upcoming Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. Several OEMs including Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo and Asus are already working on their own Windows mixed reality headsets.

Today, Microsoft is also announcing that developers in the US and Canada can pre-order an Acer ($299) or HP ($329) mixed reality headset starting today from the Microsoft Store. These headsets will be shipping later this summer.
