If you are the very impatient type, you can install the Nokia Cyan update, which not only includes the latest version of WP8.1, but also a number of other enhancements and the firmware needed to take advantage of them, to your Nokia Lumia 925 right now, even if you are not in Finland.

Vietnamese site Techrum.vn reports that merely installing a Finnish or Argentinian ROM and checking for updates will deliver the newest version of WP8.1 to you.

To install the update:

1. Download & flash the latest ROM RM-892 or RM-893 (Finland and Argentina) for the Lumia 925. Product Code:

Use the above codes to get the firmware from MrCrab.net.

2. Next install the ROM using Nokia Care Suite. The instructions and download can be had at Techrum.vn here.

3. After flashing, check for updates using Phone Update in settings and download Nokia Cyan.

Flashing your phone will delete your personal settings, so be sure to back up as much as possible first.
