Build 14385 has introduced a new application for Windows 10 users which should make it easier to help our friends and relatives who are having problems with their PCs.
The app, which was first spotted in May but which was not as accessible then, allows users to provide remote assistance to friends via a remote desktop app (above.)
Unlike Remote Desktop however the app is simple and easy to use and only offers the user two options Ask for help or Provide assistance to another user. If asking for assistance you have to provide a code which would allow the connection to be made. The app is optimised for Windows 10 and offers support for using a stylus to add annotations, which may be particularly useful when providing assistance and explanations.
The app can be found in the start menu of the latest build of Windows 10.
