The latest Xbox Update Preview brings news features for Xbox Insiders, with a big focus on making it easier to find and snag sales on games.

While the update includes various other improvements, like controller firmware fixes and expanded network management options, which we have dicussed below, the star of the show is the “Improved Sales Information” feature.

A select group of Xbox Insiders will be the first to experience a new sales browsing experience. This update can help your hunt for deals by making sales information more readily available.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • More information about ongoing sales will be displayed directly when you browse games on the Home screen.
  • Sales details will be more prominent when searching for games from the Home screen or guide.
  • The Microsoft Store will now display clearer sales information for each game.

The update also includes:

  • Controller firmware update:  Fixes for various controller issues, including paddles on the Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 and unexpected input behavior with the Xbox Adaptive Controller.
  • Network management improvements:  The ability to store password information for up to 10 Wi-Fi networks, making switching between networks a breeze.
  • A select group of users will be able to search for people directly from the Home screen or guide search (availability subject to further testing).

This update is currently rolling out to Xbox Insiders in the preview program.
