Turkish news wire Anadolu Agency has released an official Windows Phone app for their readers.

The app is available currently in Turkish only, but an English version is planned.

Anadolu Agency’s Information and Communication Technologies Director Yakup Sivka said the agency was playing a lead role in the media’s communication technologies sector in Turkey.

“Although the number of mobile devices using windows phone operating system is low, we wrote an application in the same quality of our application system as we did for the iOS and Android markets,” he said.

The app joins similar apps for iOS and Android and offers news on the economy, health and sport, science and technology.

It features:
