Update: The app has since been updated with a new message removing the promise to provide a new app and apologising for the absence of the app.

Yesterday, PayPal’s Windows Phone stopped working as the company promised recently. Today, the company started showing a new message to some users stating that they are working hard on a new app:
“Good news is on its way – we’re hard at work creating a brand new PayPal app for you. We’ll let you know as soon as it’s ready. Meanwhile, you can access your account, send money and more by visiting PayPal Web”
Of course, there aren’t much details about the new app just yet. The company is probably working on a Windows 10 app, which means it could be available for PCs too. We will let you know when the app is available for download – for now, you’ll just have to use the company’s website.
