Apple has found itself in hot water over the iPhone’s battery life issues in the past few weeks.

Users of affected iPhones can make use of Apple’s lowered pricing. While the firm had previously indicated that it would be available in January, Apple told tech publication The Verge, that it would be happy to “to offer our customers the lower pricing right away”, though there would be “limited” supply at the outset.

Lawsuits have been filed against Apple in Israel, the United States and France in both civil and criminal courts by unhappy consumers and activist groups. While some legal experts believe that Apple might succeed in winning their States based cases, its unclear how it would fair in regions with stronger consumer protection laws like the EU should more lawsuits arise.
