With Xbox Game Pass, you can get unlimited access to over 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 games on Xbox One for one low monthly price. With new games added every month, you’ll always have something new to play. If you are not a Game Pass member, you can become one from Microsoft here.  Today, Cheddar reported that Apple is now in talks with developers to create its own game subscription service similar to Xbox Game Pass.

Just like Game Pass, users can pay a low monthly price to get access to select titles. Cheddar report also mentioned that Apple even discussed with some game developers to become publisher of the game and take care of the distribution, marketing, and other related costs.

“It’s unclear how much the subscription will cost or what kind of games Apple will offer. The service is still in the early stages of development, and Apple could ultimately decide to abandon it,” Cheddar reported.

As the hardware sales declining year over year, this report indicates that Apple is now focusing on increasing the service revenue by taking advantage of its huge iOS user base.
