Several months ago, we exclusively reported about the Alcatel Idol 4 Pro, the company’s upcoming Windows 10 Mobile “superphone”. Since then, we never really heard much about the device apart from some render leaks. Today, the folks over at WinFuture published some images of the device which show the device off in all its glory. Similar to most smartphone leaks, the quality of the image isn’t really great but it does the job. Alongside the new images, the report also published some more specs for the Idol 4 Pro which are listed below:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 (quad-core, clocked at 2.156Ghz)
- 4GB of RAM
- 64GB of internal storage (there’ll be a microSD card slot)
- 21MP rear camera (Sony IMX230 sensor)
- Continuum for phones support
- 5.5-inch Full HD display
- Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update
- Coming to T-Mobile US (no information regarding availability in other regions)
The Alcatel Idol 4 Pro still doesn’t have a release date, unfortunately. Additionally, we are yet to know the pricing of the device. At the moment, there doesn’t seem to be any info on when Alcatel plans to launch this device as it has been under development for quite a while now. However, do keep in mind that the device may not be available outside of the United States — but we should know more about it when the device launches officially. We’ll let you know when the device is official — until then, let us know if you are looking forward to it in the comment section below.
