Acer is showing off a new Windows 10 Cloudbook at Computex. Cloudbooks are Microsoft’s attempt to counter Google’s Chromebooks and NotebookItalia was there to get the specs and pictures.
The new Aspire One 11 (AO1-132) , or Acer CloudBook 11 features:
- 11.6-inch HD (1366 x 768 pixels) ComfyView, optionally glossy touch or non-touch matte.
- Intel Celeron N3050 (Braswell) (other SKUs possible)
- 2GB of DDR3 RAM
- 32GB of eMMC storage, expandable via microSD cards
- 1TB of cloud space.
- WiFi 802.11ac dual-band
- Bluetooth 4.1
- HDMI port, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0
- 3-cell battery with 10 hour battery life.
- Precision touchpad
- Spill-resistant keyboard.
- 1.1Kg
- 292 x 202 x 17.9 mm
- Windows 10 Home and Office 365 free for one year
The device features a white exterior with fabric-like texture, black interior and a status LED on the left corner of the display lid which shows incoming notifications.
The Acer Aspire One 11 (AO1-132) will be available on the European market soon starting at around 250 Euros .
