AccuWeather today released an update for its Windows 10 (PC and Mobile) taking it to version 10.0.256.0 . The Accuweather app offers:

  • AccuWeather MinuteCast® – 120 minute-by-minute precipitation forecasts hyper-localised to your street address.
  • Available for the Continental US, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan, and growing.
  • Severe weather notices to keep you ahead of the storm.
  • Large, medium, small, and wide Live Tiles for all your favourite locations. Tiles automatically peek and refresh with current forecasts and weather maps.
  • Fully interactive, full-screen Bing Maps overlaid with AccuWeather’s precise weather data, including U.S., Canadian, European, and Japanese radar.
  • Dark Theme Enabled
  • Enabled Lock Screen slide show (PC/Tablet only)
  • Cortana Integration

The update brings along a number of new features, including:

  • Updated Design Improvement to Main Page.
  • Additional Langugaes Support Hindi and Arabic along with Localization Enhancements
  • Bug Fixes
  • Feature Updates
  • Performance enhancements

The updated design is somewhat cleaner with an improved lay-out.
