YouTube’s Music Premium and Premium service are spreading to more countries from this week. The firm has added support for 13 more countries, bringing its availability to a total of 63 countries.
Here are the countries now supported:
- Bosnia & Herzegovina
- Croatia
- Estonia
- Greece
- Iceland
- Latvia
- Liechtenstein
- Lithuania
- Malta
- Serbia
- Slovakia
- Slovenia
- Turkey
Most of these regions were supported by Google’s previous music service, Googe Play Music. For the uninformed, YouTube Premium offers access to ad-free YouTube, YouTube Music, and selection of YouTube Originals of varying quality. YouTube Music Premium simply offers support for YouTube Music side. Both subscriptions include support for Google Play Music, though that service is being wound down shortly.
YouTube earlier this week added support for fast switching between music videos and audio in tracks. Unlike its previous version, this is a lot smarter, removing music video only cruft when a user chooses to play a song.
YouTube Music is currently available on iOS, Android and the web.
