Just ahead of the holidays and CES 2017, Xiaomi held a small launch event for a new product today. At the event, the Chinese giant today introduced a new 4G variant of its Notebook Air device. The company initially launched the Mi Notebook Air back on July 27. The company is now teaming up with China Mobile to introduce the new 4G variant.
The 4G variant of the device comes with free 4GB of 4G data every month from China Mobile, which is a pretty neat deal. Similar to the original Mi Notebook Air, the 4G variant of the device has two different models: a 13.3-inch variant and a 12.5-inch variant.
Here are the full specs for the 13.3-inch variant:

- 8GB DDR4 RAM + 256GB PCIe SSD, expandable SSD slot
- 9.5-hour battery, 50% charge in 30 minutes
- Lightweight full metal body, weighs just 1.28kg
- Elegant logoless exterior, personalize with stickers Mi Cloud Sync, Mi Band 2 unlocking
- Windows 10 Home
For the smaller variant 12.5-inch variant, you’ll get:

The 4G variant of the Mi Notebook Air will start at CNY 4,699 — to be exact, the 12.5-inch variant will be available for CNY 4,699 (that’s around $670) and the 13.3-inch variant will be available for CNY 6,999 (that’s around $1000).
