Xiaomi announces Mi Notebook Air 2019 with 8th gen Intel processors and fast charging support

As expected, Xiaomi today announced the updated Mi Notebook Air 2019 with the latest Intel processors and more. This year’s Mi Notebook Air will come with a 12.5-inch full HD display featuring 5.71mm thin bezels. To improve the performance, Xiaomi’s has packed 8th gen Intel processors (up to Intel Core i5), up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
The design of the new 12.5-inch Mi Notebook Air looks very similar to the last generation model. It weighs just 1.07kg and measures 292 x 202 x 12.9mm. Despite its ultrathin body, it features a USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A ports, and a 3.5mm audio port. Thanks to fast charging tech, you can charge this device from 0% to 50% in just 35 minutes.
The Mi Notebook Air will start at CNY 3599 (~530 USD) and the Intel Core i5 variant will cost CNY 4299 (~640 USD).
