The Xbox app in Windows 10 recently got a new update that brings elements of Fluent Design to the app. The update was being tested in the Xbox beta app a few weeks ago, but it now seems to be rolling out to all Windows 10 users running the Creators Update or newer versions of Windows 10.

Fluent Design in the Xbox app can only be found in the app’s hamburger menu at the moment which you can see in the screenshot above. Fluent Design’s Acrylic element looks gorgeous in the Xbox app — especially if you are on Windows 10 Mobile where the in-app Acrylic actually looks really beautiful. Background Acrylic also looks very nice on PCs, but it’s just not as nice as the in-app Acrylic found on Windows 10 Mobile devices.

Microsoft will probably bring Fluent Design to more parts of the app in the near-future, but for now, we’ll just have to do with Acrylic as per usual.
