Microsoft Edge, Microsoft’s popular browser for Windows, arrived on Xbox years ago during Xbox One days. Now, the company is even making it more useful.

A recent beta update for Xbox Insiders in the Omega ring reveals that Microsoft plans to let users enable a Microsoft Edge Preview feature. Once it’s on, you can reduce webpage size by blocking embedded content that negatively impacts your console’s performance while browsing.

Microsoft has recently made a lot of Xbox and Edge-related crossovers, so that your gaming experience could be better.

More recently, the company said that its Edge Game Assist (Preview) feature is now expanding to the Stable version of the Edge browser. With that feature, you can have access to tips and guides for popular games directly through the Game Bar on Windows PCs in a non-intrusive way, too.

Still from the same update, Microsoft also expanded its Xbox Cloud Gaming offering to more Xbox insiders in the Omega ring, one of the closest to a full-fledged Stable release. With that, you can stream select Xbox games if you have a Game Pass Ultimate subscription so you won’t have to worry about the remaining space in your storage.

The update also brings Microsoft’s support to connect external USB drives larger than the previous 16TB limit for more users after previously testing it for the invite-only Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha rings.

Microsoft also said that it’ll start collecting and uploading crash logs when your game crashes, and then you’ll be notified. There are also fixes in parts, including with the Narrator, Gamerscore leaderboard, app installations, “Looking for Group,” and My Games & Apps navigation.
