We’re halfway through July and Microsoft are adding even more games to Xbox Game Pass, with each game periodically releasing through the rest of the month in order to keep you entertained.

However, some of these releases are exclusive to Xbox One consoles, some are exclusive to PC, and some are available on both platforms.

The six new games coming to the service this month are Night Call, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, The Banner Saga 4, Resident Evil 4, Killer Instinct: Definitive Edition, and For The King.

First up is Night Call, which is a PC exclusive, and will be available as of the 17th of July.

Night Call is a detective noir game where you play as a cabbie driver on the roads of Paris. A serial killer has been slashing their way through the city and, whether you like it or not, you become part of the case. You can read our preview of Night Call here.

Next up are both Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, available on Xbox One consoles, and The Banner Saga 3, available on both console and PC. Both will be available for download from the 18th of July.

Set nine years after the events of MGSV: GROUND ZEROES and the fall of Mother Base, Snake awakens from a nine year coma to find himself in the year 1984. Snake establishes a new private army and returns to the battlefield in pursuit of the shadow group, XOF.

The Banner Saga 3 is, as the name suggests, the third instalment in The Banner Saga, and is an epic role-playing Viking saga where your choices directly affect how the game plays out. Choose wisely.

There’s a small break before the final three games will be available for download on the 25th of July.

The last three games are Resident Evil 4, available on console, Killer Instinct: Definitive Edition, available on both console and PC, and For The King, available on PC.

Resident Evil 4 is the sixth major instalment in the Resident Evil series and often considered to be a significant departure from the previous games. You play as Leon S. Kennedy, as he seeks to rescue the US president’s daughter after she was kidnapped by a brain-controlling-parasite-infected cult. You know. Normal stuff.

Killer Instinct: Definitive Edition is a fighting videogame and the third instalment in the Killer Instinct series. There’s both a story mode and a competitive mode, so you can decide whether to beat up your opponents to a story or just straight up beat up your opponents.

Finally, For The King is a strategic RPG that blends both tabletop and roguelike elements in a challenging adventure. You can play on your own or as friends but, in the end, you’re playing For The King. Punny.
