Xbox Game Pass is back with new drops. This time, the subscription services bring a Watch Dog classic and EA Sports’ F1 24, just in time before the new racing season kicks off.
Upon its release in October 2020, Watch Dogs: Legion sold approximately 1.9 million digital units within the first three days, surpassing its predecessor’s initial digital sales of 431,000 units.
Critics lauded the game’s innovative “play as anyone” mechanic but offered mixed feedback regarding its narrative depth. The game was later included in PlayStation Plus back in 2024.
Joining Xbox Game Pass on February 20, EA Sports F1 24 arrives just in time for the new racing season. This latest installment in the Formula One series features an overhauled career mode and the new EA SPORTS Dynamic Handling, delivering an authentic racing simulation. Game Pass Ultimate and PC subscribers can access it through EA Play.
At launch, F1 24 secured the position of the third best-selling game on PlayStation 5 in Europe for May 2024, trailing only Sea of Thieves and Grand Theft Auto V.
Though, its initial sales were over 40% lower compared to F1 23 in the UK market. The game was subsequently added to PlayStation Plus back in 2024 as well.
Other titles arriving on Game Pass this month include Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader on February 20 and Avowed, available now. In the previous drop, Game Pass added Madden NFL 25 on February 6, just before Super Bowl LIX, alongside Far Cry: New Dawn, Avowed, Starfield, and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.
