Xbox Cloud Gaming coming to Meta Quest in December

Meta today announced Quest 3, a mass-market mixed reality headset starting at just $499.99 USD. The Quest 3 comes with the new Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 platform, 4K+ Infinite Display, 40% slimmer profile, 40% louder audio range and more. In addition to hardware improvements, Quest 3 will also provide access to the world’s largest mixed-reality content library.

Meta also revealed that Microsoft will be bringing several of its services to Quest 3 later this year, find the details below.

  • Xbox Cloud Gaming coming to Meta Quest in December, you’ll be able to play Halo Infinite, Minecraft Legends, Forza Horizon 5, and hundreds of other high-quality Xbox games—all on a massive 2D screen you can take with you anywhere.
  • Coming to Quest by the end of the year, Microsoft 365 will let you leverage your favorite productivity apps like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Windows 365 will soon offer a new way to securely stream the Windows experience to Quest, including your personal apps, content, and settings.

Also, enterprises will be able to manage Quest 3 using Microsoft Intune.
