On May 28, id Software launched a new Doom-themed charity T-shirt featuring the beloved “Dogmeat” companion from Doom: The Dark Ages. The design shows the Doom Slayer’s loyal canine decked out in armor, printed on a black tee. Fans can grab it now at the official Xbox Gear Shop.

All proceeds will go to two nonprofits: Dallas Pets Alive, which rescues at-risk animals in Texas, and Take This, a mental health group focused on gamers and developers. Microsoft and id Software will donate the entire amount to charity.

The design isn’t just fan service. It supports a growing interest in mental health and animal welfare within the gaming world. Xbox partnered with artists from The Yetee, a shop known for limited-run tees, to bring the armored dog to life.

This shirt also teases Doom: The Dark Ages, which Xbox will showcase at the June 9 Xbox Games Showcase. The game, expected to release in 2025, throws the Doom Slayer into a brutal, medieval setting, and his war dog looks ready to rip and tear.

The shirt is available for a limited time, so fans looking to support the cause and flex their Doom fandom should act fast.
