As we reported earlier, the Windows 10 Mobile Technical Preview ROM is now available to download for the Xiaomi Mi4.

The 700 MB download comes with a special tool  to install it and appears to bring the device to OS version 12562.82 .

The tool is password protected, which means for now the beta test  is confined only to registered users.

So far there seems to be quite a bit of of enthusiasm from the android community to try out the OS, and we hope the poor state of the current Technical Preview does not put them off.
