Microsoft is today releasing a brand-new build of Windows 10 for PCs. The company is releasing build 16215 for PCs, which is a much newer build (16199) than the last build that was released last month. Of course, Microsoft accidentally released build 16212 to some Windows Insiders last week, allowing them to take a sneak peek at some of the upcoming features. However, that build was later pulled and a lot of Insiders are still running build 16199.

In terms of features, there is quite a lot of new things in build 16215. I’m literally not kidding, there’s a LOT of things in this build for PCs. Here’s a breakdown:

  • Start Menu and Action Center now includes a touch of Fluent Design. Microsoft has also polished out the resize functionalities for the Start Menu
  • The Action Center has a brand new look which you can see above that looks a lot nicer than the previous design, even though it uses a lot more space now
  • Microsoft Edge improvements: you can now pin websites to your taskbar, you can now full-screen pages, and it’s now possible to annotate books
  • Cortana improvements:
    • Cortana now has a much more intelligent reminder feature: it can now look at your camera look (with your permission) and suggest reminders for things like event posters.
    • Cortana now has a new lasso tool that lets you circle a relevant area in Windows 10 and create a reminder based on the information from that selection
  • Handwriting experience has been dramatically improved with new overflow model, ink gestures, and more
  • Find My Device now lets you find your pen. Yes.
  • Windows 10 finally has an emoji picker that you can access with Win + . or Win + ;
  • The new Windows Phone keyboard is finally on Windows 10 PCs with improved text prediction, improved emoji suggestions, a new one-handed touch keyboard like Windows 10 Mobile, swipe typing, and more
  • Share dialog has been improved with the ability to copy link
  • Improvements to Settings, including a new Video Playback page
  • And lots of other minor things
