Windows 10 was the end of the excitement of upgrading every few years to an operating system which looked radically different from the one before, which makes designer  Kamer Kaan Avdan’s concept of a radically redesigned Windows 10 which takes its cues from the venerable 17-year-old Windows XP all the more exciting.

His video says goodbye to the muted and sophisticated tones of Windows 10 and re-introduces the candy colours of Windows XP, while still maintaining some features of Fluent design, and even keeps the  Live Tiles.

Probably less welcome is his replacement of Cortana with Rover, but you can’t win them all.
