WhatsApp Desktop app now available for download from Microsoft Store

As we reported previously, WhatsApp has finally released their Windows desktop app in Microsoft Store. With WhatsApp desktop app, you can sync all of your chats to your computer so that you can chat on whatever device is most convenient to you.

This is not a native UWP app, instead WhatsApp team has used Microsoft’s Desktop Bridge solution to bring their app to Microsoft Store. And you will need a smartphone with WhatsApp installed to use this application as it can’t act as your only WhatsApp client.
