WhatsApp version 2.8 is back in Marketplace. No changelog has been provided, but the app is noted to have visual improvements, including many new animations.
WindowsPhoneApps.es notes the following obvious changes:
- Three new options on the toolbar: “Search”, “Status” and “Create Group”
- Its not possible to attach a location to a message
- Its now possible to share a contact in a message
WhatsApp remains free to download.  At the moment the app can not be found by searching. It can however be found in Marketplace here.
