There are some applications where being a universal windows app does not make a lot of sense, and then there are some where one wonder why it does not exist already.

One such much needed app as a Universal Windows App version of the Twitch gaming network.

The service already has a Xbox One app, but nothing for Windows or Windows Phone but a Universal Windows App would serve all constituencies pretty well.

One Android the app lets users watch broadcasts of the games  and chat with the players they follow, something which should transfer without too much issue from Windows to Windows Phone.

A suggestion for such an app has been posted to the company’s User Voice page and has already collected more than 1000 votes.
