Windows-10-Mobile-roll-out1

Windows 10 Mobile is clearly an unfinished OS at present, despite the OS already shipping on commercial devices. This has resulted in roll-out of the upgrade to Windows Phone 8.1 handsets being delayed beyond the December timeline that was originally announced.

Now Vodafone Australia has added some more detail to this development, saying that the carrier was waiting for the “final software” for testing, and that this was expected to arrive in mid-January. Allowing 2-4 weeks for testing, and it seems likely the Lumia 630, 640, 640 XL, 730 and 930 will have to wait till February for the update to hit devices.

Given that many readers are saying the user experience is currently better on WP8.1 than W10M delaying the roll-out until everything is as good as Microsoft can make it is probably a good idea.  Do our readers agree?
