Vodafone Australia has been one of the first to publish their WP8.1 update status, and they have now revealed on their software support and update blog that they Windows Phone 8.1 update for the Nokia Lumia 925 has completed testing, and was now “awaiting rollout details.”

Its not exactly clear what that means, except to suggest that it will not be long before the software lands on the devices of Australian Nokia Lumia 925 users.

Vodafone also said they were awaiting the WP8.1 software, presumably from Microsoft, to start testing on the Nokia Lumia 625, 720, 820 and 1320.

Interestingly the Nokia Lumia 630 appears to be having issues with “Product Release 1”, and will not have the software pushed out immediately.

Microsoft has said they expect the WP8.1 update to roll out to handsets over the next few months, with timing largely dependent on the carrier.

Thanks Brent3000 for the tip.
