Talking about great apps coming to Windows Mobile, Jean-Baptiste Kempf from VideoLan has announced in his blog that one of the targets of the VideoLan project is to develop an Windows CE and Windows Mobile version of the popular open source cross-platform video client.

This is particular good news for Windows Mobile video buffs, as the most popular free multi-codec Windows Mobile video player, TCMP, is not being developed anymore, having been superseded by the rather expensive Coreplayer.

No beta is available yet,but hopefully this will be arrive soon.
