On September 16, Vivo launched its highly anticipated Nex 3 and Nex 3 5G, with 8GB/256GB. As promised by Vivo, the company has finally launched the 5G variant with a 12GB/256GB memory version in China and the new variant is now available for purchase too.

Vivo NEX 3 5G with 12GB RAM retail for CNY6,198 in China, the price translates to roughly $870/€795.

The device does pack impressive specs which include a Snapdragon 855+ SoC and a vapor chamber cooling system. Both 4G and 5G will come with similar specs and a 6.89-inch 1080p OLED waterfall screen that leaves no room for physical buttons. To cope with the problem, Vivo has added something called Touch Sense that works alongside a haptic feedback system. The device comes with an impressive 99.6% screen-to-body ratio. The phone is powered by a 4,500 mAh battery and comes with a 45W fast charger. Vivo has also added an in-display fingerprint scanner to the phone.

Moving on to the camera, the Vivo Nex 3 sports a massive 64-MP main camera along with a 13-MP ultrawide lens, and a 13-MP telephoto lens. Vivo has also added a pop-up selfie camera with a 16-MP module on the Nex 3.
