Visual Basic development editor is coming back to Office for Mac

Microsoft today announced that they are bringing back full Visual Basic development editor to Office for Mac. A limited Visual Basic development environment already shipped with the Office 2016 for Mac. Based on the feedback from customers, Microsoft is now going to include full environment on the Mac. Visual Basic IDE with the full editor, including multiple code windows, breakpoints, watches, the Object Browser, and more will be delivered as an update later this fall.

This VB IDE feature will be available only for Word, Excel and PowerPoint for Mac. Microsoft will also be releasing this feature to Office Insiders in the Fast Ring in the coming weeks.
