The Xbox One’s backwards compatibility functions allow you to play plenty of the Xbox 360 games you already own on the system, and new titles keep getting added. Last week’s update brought in a few titles, with the headliner being Bayonetta. This week’s a bit more interesting, bringing in Virtua Fighter 5, which makes it a little bit easier to scratch your fighting game itch. Bound By Flame (a RPG by Spiders, who also made Of Orcs and Men, which got added last week) and The Maw (an action-adventure game by Twisted Pixel) also got added. You can check out more in-depth official descriptions below.
Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown (Buy)
Reignite your inner fighter and prepare for the ultimate showdown! Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown is the definitive version of the Virtua Fighter 5 series that incorporates all the enhancements SEGA has rolled out since 2007 with some brand new features.
Bound By Flame (Buy)
In a desperate world ravaged by seven Ice Lords and their Deadarmy, you are Vulcan, a mercenary possessed by a flame demon. In this RPG where all your choices lead to consequences, you will have to choose between unleashing the powers of the demon within, and rejecting the demonic influence that wants to claim your humanity. Freely develop your skills and combat style through three skill trees: swing the heavy weapons of the Fighter, wield the sneaky dual daggers of the Ranger, or use the devastating flame spells of the Pyromancer. Recruit companions who will live, love, hate and fight alongside you against the dreadful creatures of Vertiel, in spectacular and tactical real-time combat. The bigger the danger, the greater the temptation to draw on the demon’s power at the cost of your soul… which way will YOU choose?
The Maw (Buy)
Unlock The Maw, winner of the 2008 PAX-10 Audience Choice Award, and help Maw devour his way to freedom.
