Steam creators Valve has finally unveiled an all-new game. Is it Portal 3? No, Is it Half-Life 3? No. Left 4 Dead 3? Definitely not. It’s Auto Chess.
Titled Dota Underlords, the Auto Chess clone is available right now for anyone who has purchased Dota 2’s $10 Battle Pass.
The game’s official descriptions reads as so:
“Dota Underlords is a new stand-alone game that pits you against seven opponents in a battle of wits that will have you building, combining, and leveling-up a crew in a battle of dominance for the city of White Spire. In this game, victory is determined not by twitch reflexes, but by superior tactics.”
With the original AC creator working on an Epic Store Exclusive version of the popular mod, Valve has quickly and efficiently pushed out there own version.
You might have heard the news on E3 that we are preparing for the launch of PC Auto Chess and have confirmed strategic partnership with Epic game. Auto Chess will be available both on our official website and Epic Games Store. https://t.co/d05ZVe15u1

This particular mod for Dota 2 is one of the most popular addons in a while; reminiscent of the original Dota mod for Warcraft 3. With its original creator moving from Steam over the Epic Games Store, it’s obvious that Valve needed to create their own alternative.
Those who don’t own the Dota 2 battlepass can play Dota Underlords next week when the new beta drops.
