In order to better the experience of Teams better so that more and more users can be productive, Microsoft is bringing a number of new features to the platform. The latest feature that the software giant has just added to Teams is support for offline mode.

The new offline mode feature in Microsoft Teams lets users browse their recent chats and channels as well as those they’ve pinned without having to connect to the internet. Moreover, users will be able to compose messages in offline mode and these messages will then automatically be sent once the device is connected to the internet. This feature will come handy when you are in the need of gathering information from Teams chat but the internet is down or not working for some reason.

The offline mode is one of the most requested features on the Microsoft Teams User Voice page. The feature request was made way back in 2018. Last year, the company confirmed that it’s working on the feature, but didn’t share any timeline.
