Samsung is only a few hours away from its “Unpacked 2024” event, which will see the official launch of the Galaxy S24 series. While the event will witness the company launching other products, what people are most excited about is S24’s AI capabilities. However, the good news is you don’t have to wait until January 17 to know about all the AI features in the Galaxy S24 series.
Tipster Alvin on X platform (formerly known as Twitter) has revealed some of the noteworthy AI features Samsung Galaxy S24 will offer. The Samsung Keyboard and Samsung Notes are two of the apps that will be packed with new AI features for S24 users. Powered by Samsung AI, the keyboard and the note-taking application will summarize web pages to provide you with key takeaways from a lengthy article. The Galaxy S24 users will also be able to change the tone of a piece of text to make it sound more professional or casual. Additionally, Samsung AI will also convert scribbles on Samsung Notes to another professional email, according to the leaker.
Considering that these updates are accurate, these aren’t anything new. Features like webpage summarization and the ability to select the tone of a piece of text are already available in Microsoft’s SwiftKey Keyboard and Microsoft Edge apps on Android and iOS. Luckily, the Samsung AI on the Galaxy S24 won’t just be about those basic AI functionalities, as the South Korean tech giant will showcase much more than that. What remains to be seen is whether Samsung brings its Samsung AI to the Galaxy S24 predecessors.
