Twin Blades was one of Microsoft’s premier launch titles, but 4 months ago the app was pulled from Marketplace due to violated a “marketplace content policy”.

At the time it seemed due to the app getting an ESRB rating of M for “Blood and Gore, Violence”.

It seems the publishers have finally responded by toning down the “blood and gore” a bit merely by changing the colour of the blood from red to green.

The app has not shown up in Marketplace yet, but updates are arriving for users who still have the app on their devices. One wonders of the a lesbian romance between two nuns are still included or not.

Ironically the change comes on the eve of Microsoft introducing parental controls for games which will allow developers to finally release Mature games to marketplace.

Update:  The app is now available in Marketplace here.
