The latest social gaming phenomenon is Trivia Champ 2, an app that allows users to compete with both friends and strangers in trivia games with questions about hundreds of different subjects. Categories can be general (sports) or specific (1990s music). There are up to seven questions in a game, and players can score up to 700 points with bonuses for how quickly they answer a question. If you aren’t in the mood to play competitively, the game also has a single player mode where you can test your knowledge solo and show of your smarts by dominating the leaderboard.
The game also allows you to earn badges by doing things like defeating a player who is on a winning streak or answering lots of questions in a row. To enhance your bragging rights, you can share these badges to Facebook or Twitter using the native integration on your phone. But the most important thing to know about Trivia Champ 2 is that once you start playing, it is very difficult to stop.
