Tiles, yes tiles, comes to Google Wear OS

Previously known as Android Wear, Google’s Wear OS has just had an update which includes a new feature- “Tiles”.

By swiping left on the watch face, the you’ll be able to view Goals, Next event, Forecast, Heart rate, Headlines and a Timer.   You can rearrange the Tiles according to your preference, so your favourite ones can be seen first.  This can be done by pressing down on the watch face for a few seconds.  Alternatively, you can drag and drop the tiles in the Wear OS phone app.

The smartwatches are expected to roll out over the next month.  Google plan to add more features as time goes by, so keep an eye out for updates.

The Wear OS will be presented at the Google I/O on May 7th, so further details will be revealed then.  In the mean time, check out the video below:
