THQ Nordic has, once again, blown minds with a staggering slew of new reveals. Dead Island 2, a new Timesplitters and Saints Row 5 are all slapped on the publisher’s latest release schedule.

Revealed during the company’s Q1 2019 interim report, THQ Nordic is doing well to solidify it’s presence as a mere revitalisation of it’s long-dead namesake. Not only will classic THQ properties be making (hopefully) grand returns, but new AA IPs such as Biomutant are also making headway.

The biggest news, alongside another helping of studio acquisitions, was the announcement of an all-new Saints Row title from Volition. Last seen four years with the spin-off Saints Row: Gat out of Hell, fans have been hoping for a revival of the classic series.

No other details on, presumably, Saints Row 5 have been revealed.

In other news, the long-awaited Dead Island 2 is back in development. After years of delays and developer hand-offs, the zombie survival title has been moved over to Homefront: The Revolution developer Damnbuster. Whilst their last title was far from a masterpiece, Damnbuster should be able to morph the game into a finished product.

Finally, there’s Timesplitters, the grand return of a legendary cult classic. With series creator Steve Ellis on board for either a reboot or sequel, Timesplitters certainly deserves a comeback.
