At the ColorOS 7 launch, Oppo confirmed that the upcoming Oppo Reno 3 5G smartphone will be launched in the next month. However, we didn’t know as to when the reno will be launched — until now.
Oppo has confirmed that it will unveil the Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro, and Reno 3 Pro 5G smartphones at an event in Hangzhou, China on December 26.
According to the official Reno 3 Pro teaser, the Pro 5G will feature a curved display, like most of the flagship Android smartphones these days. It will also feature a punch-hole design on the upper left side of the display, unlike the Reno 3, which is said to have a water-drop notch design, which will house the selfie camera.
The Reno 3 is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000, while the Reno 3 Pro and Pro 5G might pack Snapdragon 765G SoC. Reno 3 Pro comes with a quad-core camera set-up.
Reno 3 Pro 5G will be 7.7 mm thin, and that is the thinnest dual-mode 5G smartphones at the price point it will be available on, according to Oppo. Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G will weigh 171 grams.
