Last night Microsoft released their first new build of their Chromium-powered Edge browser into the Canary Channel, which is for daily updates to codebase, taking it to version 75.0.124.0.
Unfortunately, Microsoft has not decided where to post the changelog yet, leaving us guessing what is new. Thankfully William Devereux, Program Manager for Microsoft Edge, has decided to put us out of our misery to reveal the new feature.
Some of you told us that you preferred to always hide the favorites bar (even on the new tab page), so @candicepoon and team added a more granular setting in today's #MicrosoftEdge Canary build. Enjoy! pic.twitter.com/tO0Jct7moz

The update adds the ability to always hide the favourites bar, even on the New Tab Page.
In the future, Microsoft said they are considering posting a formal changelog in the Feedback Hub at some point.
To get the update, go to browser setting, click on About Microsoft Edge and after it downloads the new build, restart the browser.
If you want to join the fun head over to the Microsoft Edge Insider site and download the build of your choice.
