Nintendo Switch 2 is finally here after tons of rumors floating around the internet. But, what’s new now is that Microsoft is preparing to launch some popular Xbox games on this new gaming handheld console.
@eXtas1stv on X, a popular leaker in the gaming space, said that titles like Starfield, Hi-Fi Rush, Halo, and even Diablo IV will be a part of Xbox’s invasion in the Switch 2. Other titles like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Tekken 8, Elden Ring, Fallout 4, and even a Call of Duty game are also a part of the conversation.
Peep the video talking about the rumors, in Spanish:
Previously, rumors were saying that Microsoft would bring Xbox’s titles to Switch 2 and demo them during the upcoming Developer Direct event. That may not come as a surprise because last year, the Redmond tech giant said that four popular Xbox titles, like Pentiment and Grounded, were coming to the original Nintendo Switch.
Nintendo has previously said that the Switch 2 will support backward compatibility, just like Sony’s PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. And, from the hardware-focused teaser video, it’s clear that the Switch 2 will have black Jot-Con controllers with colored accents and a “mouse mode.”
And, there’s also a new button on the right Joy-Con and a redesigned U-shaped kickstand, which looks just like its leaks.
As for its prices, Nintendo is still keeping the details scarce. But, rumors were saying that it’ll come with a โฌ399 price tag, with games priced โฌ69-โฌ79. To put it in context, it’s just around a hundred bucks shy of Sony’s PS5, which understandably makes gamers pretty disappointed.
