The Netflix adaptation of The Witcher, which currently appears to be featuring Henry Cavill in a bad Halloween costume, is apparently due out in the last few months of 2019.
A report from Deadline states that The Witcher on Netflix is due out in Q4 of 2019. If you’re not up to date on your Qs, that means it’ll be out sometime between October and December. Hopefully.
The Netflix series is based on the book series of the same name. It follows Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter struggling to find his place in a wicked world. He meets Ciri, a young princess with a dangerous secret, and Yennefer, a powerful sorceress, and the three must work together to navigate the troubled lands.
The series is set to star Henry Cavill in the lead role of Geralt although, as we previously noted, his costume looks a bit… odd. Maybe it’s just because we’re used to Geralt being a rugged older man. Maybe it’s the wig. Maybe it’s Maybellineâ„¢?.

Other names include Jodhi May, the face of Maggy the Frog in Game of Thrones, Lars Mikkelsen, older brother of esteemed actor and dreamboat Mads Mikkelsen, and Anna Shaffer, who starred at Romilda Vane in the Harry Potter film series.
The Witcher is due out in late 2019. Are you excited for it or are you wary of Henry Cavill’s dodgy wig? Let us know in the comments.
