As promised, the Windows Phone 8.1 update for the HTC 8XT has arrived sooner rather than later, and is now available to download.
Windows Phone 8.1 will bring a large number of welcome features to the now venerable handset, including start screen backgrounds, VPN, folders, action and notification centre and more, but will of course not deliver Lumia-specific features such as improved camera performance.
Download it now by checking for updates at Settings> Phone Update> Check for updates.
